During this period he engaged, among other things, in painting backdrops and murals. In 1994, Daniel returned to Israel and opened a studio in Florentin. He is very interested in the local urbanism and cosmopolitanism of the neighborhood.
Today, Chertkoff's work is realistic, with a sculptural presence. His paintings undergo a process of disassembly and assembly, both in concept and in artistic expression. His studio is currently located in Ramat Gan, where he teaches and creates.
